Thank you! This camera was launched on February 15, 2007 at the conclusion of the "Bretton Woods Challenge" membership drive, where 250 people from across the nation and abroad chose to join in support of the Observatory. Special thanks to Carolyn Miller of Clifton, ME, for being the 250th new member of the drive, allowing us to "flip the switch" and make this new webcam live. Thanks also to our friends at Bretton Woods Mountain Resort for giving us a perfect spot for a webcam! Have no fear if the image is grey, as Mount Washington is in the fog more than 60% of the time!
